Helene Now At Cat 4, Likely To Strengthen to Category 5 with “Unsurvivable” 20 Ft Surge
Helene has strengthened to Category 4 strength, with top winds now around 135 mph. Helene is still rapidly intensifying as it approaches the northeast coast of Florida. Landfall is expected tonight, in just a few hours. It’s not out of the question for the storm to intensify to Cat 5 before landfall.
Fox Weathher Center is monitoring the storm, remaining live all night while they track this devastating storm.
